Shifting of port facilities outside the historical part of sap is reasonable, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Nikita Kamenir, head of Roszheldor's North-West Branch, as saying at the Oil Terminal 2018 congress in Saint-Petersburg.
According to him, the development of cargo transportation is hindered by the territory limits.
A project on construction of an outer port Bronka has been recently implemented in Saint-Petersburg. The port is located outside the city, near the Ring Road. MSCC Bronka has the advantages of convenient location and does not load the infrastructure of the city center.
