Icebreakers of FSUE Rosmorport assisted 322 ships in navigation season 2018-2019

Icebreakers of FSUE Rosmorport have started providing icebreaker assistance in freezing ports of Russia. From the beginning of the navigation season of 2018-2019, six freezing ports of Russia have announced the period of limited navigation and obligatory icebreaker escort, says FSUE Rosmorport.

In the reporting period, icebreakers of FSUE Rosmorport assisted 322 ships.

Most of operations were performed in the Azov Basin (316 ships as of December 10). Russia ships were escorted in the White Sea and 3 ships in Sabetta port.

Rosmorport’s fleet of diesel icebreakers numbers 35 ships of different capacity.
