Yevgeny Nikora, Vice Governor of the Murmansk Region, marked correct operation of the Kolenergo networks during the incident on the floating dock ПД-5 at the site of the 82 Shiprepair Dockyard in Roslyakovo, says Murmansk Region’s Ministry for Internal Policy and Mass Communications.
“The regional government has the situation under its control. According to the system operator of the unified energy system, there were no power cuts in the networks of Kolenergo (a company of Rosseti Group) during the incident on the floating dock ПД-5 at the site of the 82 Shiprepair Dockyard”, said Yevgeny Nikora.
The floating dock ПД-5 sank on 30 October 2018 when launching the aircraft-carrying cruiser. According to earlier reports, the incident could be caused by a voltage surge which, in its turn, caused the pumps shutdown and sinking of the dock. Four persons were injured with one person missing. Investigations have been initiated over violation of safety rules.
In 2015, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed a Decree allowing Rosneft create an Arctic support base at Roslyakovo settlement (Murmansk Region). The document has been published at the website of RF Government.
According to the Presidential Decree No 603, closed administrative-territorial entity Severomorsk of the Murmansk Region was reorganized from January 1, 2015 through separating of Roslyakovo with the adjacent territory. That lifted restrictions on business activities and stay of Russian and foreign citizens in Roslyakovo.
According to the Russian government's order, February 18, 2015 (№243-p) the coastal supply base for offshore projects of Rosneft will be located at the site of the 82 Shiprepair Dockyard (JSC "82 SRZ", Roslykovo, Murmansk region).
