Vladivostok Container Terminal LLC operating at the territory of Vladivostok Commercial Seaport increased container transshipment by 4.2% in January 2007, year-on-year, to 12,235 TEU, the terminal’ press center reports according to RZD-Partner.
Export totaled 5,726 TEU, import - 3,992 TEU. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo amounted over the reported period to 2,517 TEU.
Loaded/empty containers ratio was 54.58% / 45.42%.
In 2006, container turnover of VCT totaled 147,100 TEU (+18% against 2005).
