Cargo turnover of Iljichevsk Commercial Seaport down 9.9% in January 2007

In January 2007, Iljichevsk Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) handled 0.96 million tons of cargo (-9.9%, year-on-year, and –24.4% against December 2006), the port’s Administration reports according to RBC-Ukraine.  Transshipment of general cargo grew by 3.2%, year-on-year, to 0.58 million tons, bulk cargo – decreased by 27.2% - to 0.28 million tons, liquid bulk cargo – decreased by 15.3% - to 0.094 million tons. In 2006, cargo turnover of Iljichevsk Commercial Seaport decreased by 0.9% - to 14.8 million tons.
