Container Terminal Novoroslesexport JSC (NLE, part of NCSP Group) has completed the project of reefer and electricity capacity installing reefer racks adding 720 plugs for refrigerated containers connected to the terminal power supply, NCSP Group said in a media release.
The reefer racks installation at Cargo Area No 2 began in February 2018 as part of the project to expand the reefer capacity of NLE terminal.
The new racks will enable NLE to store and stack at the terminal simultaneously more than 1,500 loaded refrigerated containers, compared with 800 reefer containers until February 2019.
Container Terminal Novolesexport (NLE) provides services for cargo handling and storage of containers and timber products, such as raw timber, plywood, fibreboard and chipboard. Unlike other stevedoring companies in the Black Sea-Azov Sea region, NLE's focus is on shipment of processed timber, the tariffs for which offer higher margins than raw timber. In addition, NLE offers a range of value-added services to customers, including warehousing and freight forwarding and is engaged in the stevedoring of ferrous metals and perishable goods.
