Loading of RZD OJSC up 8.9% in January 2007

According to PR Department of RZD OJSC, the company loaded 107.2 million tons of cargo in January 2007, the highest result over last 14 years (+ 8.9% , year-on-year). Loading of ferrous metal grew by 13.5%, metal scrap – by 76.3%, foodstuffs – by 16.9%, grain – by 17.7%. Loading of containers grew by over 9%, timber – by 6.9%, coal – by 12.1%, cement – by 59.1%, industrial raw materials – by 18.7%.
