Gazpromneft Marine Bunker’s sales in 1Q’19 grew by 25% YoY to 800,000 tonnes

fuel in January-March 2019 totaled 800,000 tonnes, up 25% year-on-year. The company says it has retained its position of the largest supplier of oil products in the North-Western and the Black Sea regions with shares of 30% and 23% respectively.

Marine fuel sales in the North-Western Region grew by 8%, year-on-year, to 262,000 tonnes with the highest growth of retail sales registered in Primorsk (+74%), Murmansk (+36%) and Arkhangelsk (+31%).

Sales of environmentally friendly low-sulfur fuel intended for SECAs totaled 45,500 tonnes accounting for 18.7% of total sales at the ports of the Baltic Sea.

In the reporting period, sales of marine fuel at the ports of the Black Sea Region (Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Kavkaz, Taman) totaled 115,000 tonnes.
