Feodor Shishlakov appointed head of Volgo-Baltic Administration
Feodor Shishlakov was appointed head of FBI “Administration of Volgo-Baltic Basin of Inland Water Ways (Volgo-Baltic Administration) from 21 May 2019, the company says in a press release.
The Decree of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) No 88/к-мрф was signed I 21 May 2019.
As it was reported earlier, Feodor Shishlakov was acting head of Volgo-Baltic Administration from 31 October 2018.
Volgo-Baltic Administration is a state body of river transport management within RF Transport Ministry. It consists of eight blanches and operates in seven constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The Volga-Baltic Waterway is one of the most important waterways, part of the unified system of deep inland waterways of the European part of Russia. This is a complex of engineering facilities, which includes 4,896 km of inland waterways operated, including 2,969 km with guaranteed dimensions, 11 locks with a pressure of 11 to 18 meters, three water power plants, 25 earth dikes and dams, 12 ferry crossings, 9 bridges, 8 lighthouses on the Ladoga lake, over 4,495 aids to navigation, 243 vessels of service fleet.
