Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-May 2019 was nearly flat, year-on-year, at 261.39 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Five-month volume of oil cargo rose 3.6% to 95.18 million tonnes, while non-oil bulk cargo volume fell 1.8% to 6.95 million tonnes.
Container traffic edged up 0.4% to 15.03 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in the South-East Asia. In 2018, the port handled 630.03 million tonnes of cargo.
