Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in Jan-May’19 declined by 1.3% to 225.91 million tonnes

In January-May 2019, port Hong Kong (China) handled 225.91 million tonnes of cargo, down 1.3%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port grew by 5.2% to 17.78 million TEUs.

In 2018, the port of Shanghai handled 561.29 million tonnes.
