Since June 18, 2019 Igor Sharkov is appointed Director of FESCO Branch office in Vladivostok (“Branch office”), FESCO says in a press release. This decision was made by FESCO Board of Directors (FESCO Transportation Group’s head company).
Igor Sharkov will be responsible for ensuring the activities of FESCO Branch office in Vladivostok and FESCO Marine Division. “Mr. Igor Sharkov has been working at FESCO more than 40 years, he rose from an engineer on the company's ships to the technical director of FESCO Branch office in Vladivostok. I am confident that his professionalism, in-depth knowledge of the industry and the team will help to improve the efficiency and development of the shipping business of the Group”, - said Alexander Isurin, President of FESCO.
Igor Sharkov graduated from Maritime state university named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy (ex- the Far Eastern High Engineering Maritime College named after adm. G.I.Nevelskoi) in the specialty "Marine engineer". Mr. Sharkov is awarded the breast badge "Honorary Worker of the Navy", the medal of Russian Ship-owners Union and the gold badge “Honored Worker of the Far Eastern Shipping Company”.
