Associated British Ports, the UK’s leading port operator, today announces the appointment of Angela Morgan as General Counsel and Company Secretary, completing the new Executive Leadership Team.
Angela has been promoted from within ABP’s ranks, previously holding the role of Senior Solicitor, and brings to her new role extensive experience and an extremely well-developed knowledge of the business, having been with ABP since 2008. Prior to ABP, Angela worked as a solicitor at leading law firms in both London and New Zealand.
She joins ABP’s Executive Leadership Team, which has been assembled over many months of careful consideration, with each member being selected for their wealth of relevant industry experience, successful track records and extensive expertise.
The new Executive Team comprises: Henrik Pedersen, Chief Executive Officer; Marina Wyatt, Chief Financial Officer; Julian Walker, Chief Commercial Officer (joins on 2 September); Simon Bird, Regional Director, Humber; Alastair Welch, Regional Director, Southampton; Andrew Harston, Regional Director Wales & Short Sea Ports; Harm van Weezel, Chief Information Officer; Mike McCartain, Group Director of Safety, Marine & Engineering; Alison Rumsey, Chief Human Resources Officer; and, Angela Morgan, General Counsel.
