Mikhail Deryabin appointed as Director of Ship Repair Plant ‘Krasnaya Kuznitsa’

Ship Repair Center ‘Zvezdochka’ JSC (a part of United Shipbuilding Corporation JSC) says Mikhail Deryabin is appointed as Director of its Ship Repair Plant ‘Krasnaya Kuznitsa’ from 1 July 2019.

A graduate of Sevmashvuz, Mikhail Deryabin has been with Zvezdochka for 18 years. In 2005, was retrained under presidential programme for Business Management training, in 2011 had a course for enhancing management competence at Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Previous position – deputy head of the Company’s operations control department.

Ex-Director of Krasnaya Kuznitsa shipyard’s Arkhangelsk branch Nikolai Vas’kov who had been holding this position from 2007 will continue working as an Advisor to the Director.

Ship Repair Center ‘Zvezdochka’ (a company of United Shipbuilding Corporation) was established in 1954. Apart from the head organization in Severodvinsk, Zvezdochka has branches on the Barents, White, Azov, Black and Caspian Seas.

United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC OJSC) is the largest shipbuilding company in Russia. It was set up in 2007 with 100% federal ownership. The holding comprises 40 companies and organizations (major shipbuilding and shiprepairing companies as well as leading design bureaus). Currently, USC consolidates the bulk of the domestic shipbuilding complex. The Russian market is the main focus of the state corporation though it also exports its products to 20 countries worldwide.
