Jumbo installs another mooring system in Egypt
The Fairplayer and her team have successfully completed the pre-installation and tensioning of a shallow water CALM buoy mooring system at a depth of 26 metres for the Mersa El-Hamra terminal offshore Egypt, the company said in its release.
Jumbo’s scope included the pre-lay of 10 Stevshark drag anchors and 6 chain moorings and the subsequent tensioning of the mooring legs up to 512 tonnes, for WEPCO / Micoperi.
With a short lead time, the project team managed to professionally prepare for the full scope of work and provide the required project procedures, equipment and personnel on-time.
