Throughput of Russian seaports in 6M’19 grew by 2.8% to 409.04 million tonnes
In January-June 2019, Russian seaports handled 409.04 million tonnes, up 2.8% year-on-year, says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
In the reporting period, transshipment of dry bulk cargo totaled 179.71 million tonnes (-4.8%), liquid bulk cargo - 229.33 million tonnes (+9.7%).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 51.65 million tonnes (+25.1%, year-on-year) including 14.91 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+5.5%) and 36.74 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+35.3 %).
Seaports of the Baltic basin handled 130.06 million tonnes (+6.1%) including 55.5 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+2.6%) and 74.56 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+8.8%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin handled 118.89 million tonnes (-10.8%) including 41.57 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-28.3%) and 77.32 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+2.7%).
Seaports of the Caspian basin handled 3.48 million tonnes (+44.1%) including 1.28 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-7.6 %) and 2.21 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+213.3%).
Seaports of the Far East basin handled 104.95 million tonnes (+6.8%) including 66.46 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+8.6%) and 38.49 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+3.9%).
