Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in Jan-June’19 declined by 2.1% to 272.29 million tonnes

In January-June 2019, port Hong Kong (China) handled 272.29 million tonnes of cargo, down 2.1%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port grew by 5% to 21.54 million TEUs.

In 2018, the port of Shanghai handled 561.29 million tonnes.
