New tanker acquired by Murmansk Shipping Company
Tanker fleet of Murmansk Shipping Company acquired new giant tanker – Nadezhda, the PRIME-TASS reports with reference to Alexander Medvedev, the company’s Director General. The tanker’s tonnage – 150,000 tons – enables it to take as much oil as 8 tankers of the MSC, operating at Arctic lines. This new tanker is to increase volume of oil transportation at both ocean lines and the lines of northern seas. It is to be used for transportation of Russian oil to Western Europe via the port of Murmansk.
