Multipurpose Reloading Complex increased social expenses by 22%

During six months of 2019, social expenses of Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) operating at the port of Ust-Luga exceeded RUB 780,000, 22% more than in the same period of 2018. According to MRC, the entire amount was spent to support the company personnel.

Over RUB 400,000 was allocated to cover employees’ expenses for health resort packages, sports and recreation centres, medical services and medicine. The company provided financial assistance to the terminal employees on the occasion of the Children's Defence Day and to the port workers in distress.

MRC spent RUB 380,000 for professional development of its personnel. From the beginning of the year, 60 employees have been trained under different upgrade training programmes and had educational courses on safety of port labour and working at height – twice as much as a year ago.

Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region, specializing in unloading, storage and loading of general and bulk cargoes. The main cargo is export power coal. In 2018, MRC LLC handled 5.4 million tonnes of cargo.
