Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) has provided Ust-Luga Company OJSC with a permit to create artificial plots of land for construction of sea terminals as part of the 5th and the 6th phase of general cargo transshipment facility at Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region) and construction of coast protection facilities which are foreseen for creation of a complex of multifunctional terminals under LUGAPORT project, says project contractor Novotrans Group.
Project documentation and engineering survey findings for creation of artificial plots of land under the project on construction of sea terminals as part of the 5th and the 6th phase of general cargo transshipment facility at Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga have recently obtained state expert approval from Glavgosexpertiza.
Ust-Luga Company and Novotrans Group commence the construction works under LUGAPORT project. It is a multifunctional transportation/transshipment complex including terminals for transshipment of grain, food, dry bulk and general cargo. The facility’s annual throughput capacity is 24.3 million tonnes with total investments estimated at RUB 46.5 billion.
