Russian Maritime Register of Shipping participates in Neva 2019
Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) will participate in the 15th International Exhibition and Conference for Shipping, Shipbuilding, Offshore Energy, Ports, Inland Waterways and Oceanography Neva 2019. The exhibition will take place at Expoforum Convention & Exhibition Complex, St. Petersburg, Russia on September 17-20, 2019.
During the exhibition, RS will hold a business programme covering new trends of the industry and spotlighting the topics that generate the most interest of RS customers.
During Day 1 (September 17), the seminars at the RS stand will explore LNG-technologies. For over a decade RS has been developing a comprehensive programme for the enhancement of services for marine transportation of liquefied natural gas. RS possesses successful track record of gas carriers construction survey at world leading shipyards. Today, RS carries out survey under construction of the unrivalled Arctic Arc7 LNG carriers, an Arctic gas condensate tanker and other types of ships carrying gas.
Day 2 (September 18) will be devoted to the Conference on RS Rules update.
On Day 3 (September 19), the seminars on the stand will continue. This day’s topics will refer to double acting ships, recent amendments to RS Rules, digital solutions and document security, drone ship inspections.
On the final day (September 20), RS will hold a party for the students of St. Petersburg secondary schools’ maritime classes. The party devoted to the development of the Arctic will be arranged in cooperation with the scale model museum Petrovskaya Akvatoria, Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, Admiral Senyavin Maritime Technical College, Logistics Museum.
