Glander International Bunkering opens 8th office globally in Oslo

The leading marine fuel and lubricant trading firm, Glander International Bunkering says it has started operations in Oslo, Norway.

The Oslo office is the company’s 8th location and aims to expand the reach of its main Norway office in Tønsberg.

Managing Director Ole Rismyhr said, “Expanding into the Norwegian capital was a strategic decision for the company to serve more shipping segments in important shipping hubs like Oslo and Bergen.”

The Oslo office is manned by bunkering experts Lars Brustad, Sverre Vetterstad and William Tandberg.

Carsten Ladekjær, CEO of the Glander International Bunkering Group commented on the news: “With nearly 30 years of combined experience in shipping and bunkering, the Oslo team will continue our high-standing reputation for safety and reliability. I am certain that our presence in Oslo will provide the local support needed by shipowners in this important hub.”

Opening months ahead of IMO 2020, the Oslo office is ready for the transitional period according to Rismyhr. He said, “Operating in the heart of Norway allows the Oslo team to get closer to shipowners and personally guide them through this industry shakeup.”
