Posco International and Orexim Group open new Grain Terminal in Nikolaev

The Grain terminal of Korea’s Posco International and Ukraine’s Orexim Group was officially opened in the port of Nikolaev on 24 September 2019, Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPO) says in a press release.

The terminal’s  total storage capacity is more than 140 KMT at a time. The berths of Nikolaev Sea Port are in close location to the Terminal.
In February 2019, Posco International purchased a share of 75% of the Grain Terminal in Nikolaev  Sea Port from Orexim Group of companies.
With the new Grain terminal Posco plans to increase Ukrainian grain export to 3 MMT per year. Also the company has in plans to create their own park of rail wagons for grain transporting.
