Shipping lines participating in the Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) have decided to remove the peak season surcharge on all shipments from South Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to Australia.
The lifting of the surcharge on the trade from North and East Asia to Australia will come into effect on February 26.
AADA members are: ANL Singapore, CSCL, Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin Shipping, HMM, "K" Line, Maersk Line, MSC, MOL, NYK Line, OOCL, and Gold Star Line (HK) Ltd (ZIM Line).
