Throughput of the port of Klaipeda up 28.4% in Jan. 07, y-o-y

In January 2007, seaport of Klaipeda was the leader among the ports of Baltic states in terms of container transportation, RZD-Partner reports. In January 2007, the port handled 21.1 thou TEU (+28.4%, year-on-year). The second position was held by the port of Riga – 13.97 thou TEU (+9.1%), the third one was the port of Tallinn – 2.2 thou TEU (+7.1%), the forth – Ventspils – 1.1 thou TEU.
