Export increased by 5%; import increased by 29%. Import increased as import of motor cars, equipment increased by 24%.

Primorski Krai keeps trading with more than 82 countries. The major partners are the following: China (38% of total foreign trade); Japan (30%); Korea (14%) and USA (3%).
The main types of exported cargoes are: fuel – energy freights, timber and timber products, fish and fish production, mineral fertilizers. Import consists of machine building products; industrial products, textiles and shoes.
