Cargo turnover of Sea Port of Saint Petersburg up 21% in Jan. 07, y-o-y
In January 2007, stevedoring companies of Sea Port of Saint Petersburg OJSC handled 979 thou tons of cargo (+21%, year-on-year), the company’s press center reports.
First Stevedoring Company handled 404 thou tons, Second Stevedoring Company - 163 thou tons, Timber Stevedoring Company - 29 thou tons, Forth Stevedoring Company handled - 383 thou tons. The company used to handle mostly bulk cargo (421 thou tons) and metal (379 thou tons). In January 2007, the Group’s share in cargo turnover of the Big Port was 23.8%.

The shareholders of the company are structures representing Novolipetsk Integrated Iron and Steel Works OJSC (NLMK).
