STX Shipbuilding wins 211-bln-won order to build gas carrier for European client

South Korean shipbuilder STX Shipbuilding Co. said Wednesday it has won a order worth 211 billion won (US$225 million) from a European client to build a liquefied natural gas carrier.
The contract calls for STX to deliver the vessel by May 2010, the shipbuilder said in a regulatory filing. It didn't identify the client.
