Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in 5M’20 fell by 15% to 192.6 million tonnes

In January-May 2020, port Shanghai (China) handled 192.6 million tonnes of cargo, down 15%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port fell by 7.5% to 16.46 million TEUs.

In 2019, the port of Shanghai handled 538.31 million tonnes.
