Natural gas production down 0.1% in Russia in Jan
Production of natural gas in Russia fell 0.1% to 60.726 billion cubic meters in January 2007 from the same period in the previous year, a source in the Industry and Energy Ministry told Interfax.
Production dropped 1.01% to around 56.624 bcm of gas at gas and gas condensate fields in Russia in January, but grew 7.6% to 4.103 bcm of associate gas at oil fields.
Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) produced 50.074 bcm of crude in January, which is 88.4% of the total production at gas fields.
