Kalinigrad affiliate of RosMorPort and Avtotor plant organized an experimental loading of small tonnage tracks at the port of Baltiysk. The tracks were produced in Kaliningrad. Pelican ferry, which flies the French flag, freighted by Mann Lines Company, leaved to the port of Ust-Luga.
Mann Lines, French carrier, will provide transportation of tracks at that line. The main specialization of the company is container transportation. The company intends to freight vessels for that transport line, after the decision about regular ro-ro is taken.
35-40 thousand tracks will be shipped between Baltiysk and Ust-Luga in 2007 according to preliminary agreement between Avtotor and Rosmorport.
