Russia may cut oil export duty
Russia's oil export duty may be curbed by around $25 to $154-156 per tonne in April, Alexander Sakovich, Deputy Head of the Customs Payments Department of the Russian Finance Ministry reports according to RBC. He said that was the Ministry's forecast based on the current oil price. He put the average February price at $53.07 per barrel, adding that even if the most unlikely forecasts came true and the oil price reached $53.07 per barrel, the oil customs duty would be set at $158 at the most.
As reported earlier, the current oil export duty amounts to $179.7 per tonne.
