LUKOIL to start construction of bottled gas production plant in 2007
In 2007, LUKOIL OJSC plans to start construction of a plant for production of bottled liquefied gas in Leningrad region, Vagit Alekpyorov, head of LUKOIL OJSC told reporters after LUKOIL signed cooperation agreement with Leningrad Region Government. The plant’s capacity is to make 200 thou bottles of gas per month. Alekpyorov says the construction is to take 1.5 years, the investments are to total RUR 250 million.
Raw material for production is to be delivered from LUKOIL gas fields in Western Siberia. Similar plants have been recently built in Volgograd and Kaliningrad regions.
