East oil pipeline terminal point to be unchanged-Fradkov
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov told journalists after a meeting on issues of socio-economic development of the Far East and trans-Baikal area here on Thursday that the Russian government has not made any decisions on changing of the terminal point of the East Siberia-Pacific oil pipeline route, Itar-Tass reports.
“We have not changed decisions, the work is going on rather intensively,” the prime minister said. “As many as 500 kilometres of the pipe have been laid and the terminal point – Primorsky (Maritime) territory- has not been changed,” Fradkov pointed out. According to him, thus the “access to the Pacific Ocean will be ensured.”
