Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in 2M’2022 rose by 7.9% YoY

The port’s container throughput rose by 9.6%

In January-February 2022, port Shanghai (China) handled 88.36 million tonnes of cargo, up 7.9%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput in January-February totaled 8.15 mln TEUs, up 9.6%.

In 2021, the port of Shanghai handled 539.2 million tonnes.
