Ecu-Line has started for the first time offering direct sailings between Singapore and Abidjan for less-than-container-load (LCL) shipments.
Ecu-Line said in a statement that it is the only company offering this type of service between the Far East and Abidjan in Africa as trade between the two continents continues to grow.
The shipping line said it is providing this service as it regards the trade with Abidjan as being a potential growth market, particularly as the core of Ivorian private sector industry remains active in spite of political unrest since 2000.
