The Federal Service for Natural Resources Usage Oversight (RosPrirodNadzor) will begin the inspection of Sakhalin-1 on March 28, the RosPrirodNadzor Deputy Head Oleg Mitvol said.
The first stage of the inspection will begin then, during which a desk audit will be performed. The second stage of the inspection (field one) will begin in May.
He stressed that Sakhalin-1 inspection was planned for autumn 2006, but then was postponed because of Sakhalin-2 inspection.
