277 thousand tons of cargoes were accepted for transportation in containers across the Western-Siberian highway for the first quarter 2006, that’s 3.7 % higher, than for the similar period of the last year, RZHD-Partner reports referring to PR Department of RZHD OJSC. West-Siberian territorial branch of TransContainer has summed up the total for three months. For January-March within the limits of Western-Siberian railway 28 thousand containers have been loaded, from which 12 thousand of large-capacity, that 6 % higher than for the similar period of the last year.
