The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation as of July 2, 2007 set the exceptional rate for the container service from the third countries to the third countries in transit via the Russian railways.
The Ministry set the rates at USD 400 per 40’ loaded container for the period before December 31, 2007 for the transportation of own (leased) loaded large-tonnage containers in own (leased) platforms via Brest, Chop from the third countries via the cross border stations of the Russian Federation en route via the Russian railways to the third countries via Zabaikalsk, Naushki.
This procedure of settlement is applied for the transportation in the volume not less than 5000 40’ loaded containers on the said route and not less than 5000 40’ loaded containers on the home route.
