Turkish passenger ferry Lt Salih Reis 4 collided yesterday with Ukranian-flagged cargo ship Semyon Rudnev at the B-3 anchorage area in the sea of Marmara south of Istanbul. While not in serious condition, at least 30 passengers of the Seabus have been injured. The Seabus returned to its dock in Istanbul after the accident. The accident did not effect the traffic at the Bosporus strait, a key waterway heavily used by tankers carrying oil from the Black Sea. It is not known whether there has been a leakage of bunker fuel from either ship.
