Oil price up to $70.44 in London and to $71.98 in New York

In London the October Brent Crude contract was up $0.77 on August 17 to $70.44. Light Sweet Crude for September delivery climbed $0.98 to $71.98 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Light Sweet Crude for October delivery made $71.82, Finmarket reports.
