ESF acquisition enables FESCO to expand services to Western Russia

As a result of FESCO Transport Group’s recent acquisition of ESF Euroservices, a Baltic feedership operator with service between continental Europe and Russia, FESCO North America will now offer weekly containerised service to Western Russia from various ports and points in North America.
The rotation includes weekly calls at the ports of Montreal, New York, Norfolk, Charleston and Houston via Rotterdam to St Petersburg, Russia.
The vessels call at Delta Terminal in Rotterdam, which includes a ten-day transit time from the East Coast and fifteen days from Houston. Transit time from Rotterdam to St Petersburg is six days.
Known as FESCO ESF Ltd, the newly formed merger offers fully integrated container shipping and handling services between ports in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Russia, Finland and Baltic States.
FESCO ESF rotation includes: Rotterdam/Hamburg/Antwerp – Saint Petersburg; Hamburg – Kotka/Helsinki; and Hamburg – Klaipeda/Riga.
FESCO also operates an extensive rail network in the Russian Far East, which provides shippers with comprehensive intermodal services, including short-sea port transportation in the Baltic region – Russia's main gateway for containerised imports.
