The Russian oil exchange may start trade in oil and oil products on October 1, holds the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The ministry on Monday stops accepting applications for the tender to select the exchange with which orders for oil and oil products will be placed, PRIME-Tass learned from the ministry.
Applications were accepted from July 27. The envelopes containing applications for the tender will be opened on August 28. The commission for the tender to select the exchange for oil and oil products deliveries will announce the decision on the results of the tender and will notify the winner on September 10, 2007.
The commission includes representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Federal Service for Financial Markets, Federal Antimonopoly Service and Ministry of Industry and Energy.
