In January-June 2007, 3.476 million tonnes of oil products were delivered by pipeline to Ventspills (+33.8 thou tones, or +1%, year-on-year), Latvia’s Central Statistics Department reports according to RZD-Partner. In 2006, Ventspills received 6.69 million tonnes of oil products by oil pipeline (+22%, year-on-year).
Trunk pipelines Polotsk – Ventspills and Polotsk – Mazeikiai are operated by LatRosTrans, owned by Latvian holding Ventspils nafta and Russia’s Transnefteproduct.
