Loading of Russian Railways makes 113.6 million tonnes of cargo in August 07

In August 07, Russian Railways (RZD OJSC) loaded 113.6 million tonnes of cargo, Vladimir Yakunin, President of RZD OJSC, announced  at a telephone conference dedicated to the company’s results, RZD’s press center reports.  "Loading grew by 3% as compared with the beginning of the year. Loading of chemicals grew by +7.3%, motor cars – by 39.6%, grain – by 43.8%, coke – by 13.2%," Mr. Yakunin said. He also noted transshipment of containerized cargo grew by 6.5%.
