In January-August 2007, throughput of the terminals of National Container Company totaled 981,168 TEU (+15.1%, year-on-year), NCC’s press release states. In the reported period, throughput of First Container Terminal (FCT, St. Petersburg) totaled 617,350 TEU (+9.8%, year-on-year).
In August 2007, the terminal handled 77,651 TEU (45,109 units). Turnover of refrigerator containers amounted to 69,294 TEU (-32%, year-on-year). Export totaled 38,492 TEU, import - 39,159 TEU. In August, the terminal handled 64 vessels with average turnover of 1,213 TEU per vessel.
