In January-July 2007, volume of coal and coke transported by Ukraine’s railways grew by 4.5% to 81.2 million tonnes, RZD-Partner reports. Transshipment of coal grew by 2.6% to 73.8 million tonnes, coke – by 26% to 7.3 million tonnes.
Transit climbed by 18.8% to over 12 million tonnes, import – by 37% to 6.7 million tonnes, export – by 7% to 2.45 million tonnes.
