The delegation of the seventeenth district of the USA coast guard will pay an official visit to the North-East Frontier Department of Coast Guard of the Russian FSB.
As RIA PrimaMedia was informed in the press-service of the North-East Frontier Department of Coast Guard of the Russian FSB, a plane S-130 of the seventeenth district of the USA Coast Guard lands at the airport of Elizovo on September, 17.
The delegation of the USA Coast Guard with Admiral Charles WERSTER, the Commander-in Chief of the US Pacific Navy Coast Guard, and Rear Admiral Arthur BRUKS, the Commander-in Chief of the seventeenth district of the USA Coast Guard at the head arrive by this plane.
The Russian coast guard delegation is headed by General-lieutenant Valeriy PUTOV, the Chief of the Regional Department of Coast Guard in the Far Eastern Federal District and General-lieutenant Alexander LEBEDEV, the Chief of North-East Frontier Department of Coast Guard of the Russian FSB.
The working meetings of the Russian and American frontier delegations, the summarizing of joint activity and also discussing and signing the documents on further cooperation between NEFD of Coast Guard of FSB of Russia and the seventeenth district US Coast Guard are planned in the agenda of the official visit. In the framework of the visit the American guests will go to the city of Magadan where they will not only see the sights, but will have some meetings with the Governor of the Magadan Area and the Mayor of Magadan.
On September, 18 the US coast guard ship "Boatwell" will arrive in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the Russian and the American frontiers will carry out the joint exercise on rescuing people and rendering assistance to the ship suffering disaster in water areas of the Avachinsky Bay.
On September, 20 a friendly football match between the crews of the coast patrol ship "Magadanetz" and coast guard ship "Boatwell" will be held at "Spartak" stadium.
On the same day the Heads of the delegations will sign the final documents on further cooperation between 2 Frontier Departments and will answer the journalists' questions.
