Azerbaijan exports oil and oil products for over $8.7 billion in H1 07

In January-July 2007, Azerbaijan’s export of oil and oil products exceeded $8.665 billion while the state’s total export totaled $9.25 billion, National Bank of Azerbaijan reports according to REGNUM news agency. Export of oil products amounted to $737.5 million, crude - $7.927 billion. Major exporter of Azerbaijan is AIOC (Azerbaijan International Operating Company). $1.2 billion of AIOC’s export accounted for Azerbaijan’s profit while the profit foreign shareholders made $6.5 billion. SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) and other companies exported oil and oil products for $192 million.
