East-Siberian Railway transports over 6 mln tonnes of crude to China in 8M07

In January-August 2007, East-Siberian Railway transported over 6 million tonnes of crude oil to China, ESR’s PR department reports. In the reported period the majority of crude oil was transported via the border station Zabaikalsk – 5.96 million tonnes (8.6%, year-on-year). Besides, 50,000 tonnes of crude was transported via the border crossing Naushki. In August, crude oil transportation to China totaled 750,000 tonnes.
